My friend Angie invited me to a bow party. Two lovely ladies had all the supplies you needed to make them, all you needed to bring was your creativity and check book. I made these 4 bows and it only cost $8! They were very easy! It's all about looping ribbon. If you want more detailed instructions post a comment or email me.

Water Bottle & Personalized Paper Organizer
I thought it was about time to post a craft. I made these for a scrapbooking retreat I did in June. They were very easy to make. To spice up these boring water bottles I removed the label and added matching patterned paper. I also added a flavored drink packet in the pocket for an extra touch. If you're hosting a party you could even stamp your guests name on them for a unique place card. I also made personalized 6x6 paper organizer filled with goodies for all the scrappers.
Water Bottle:
Supplies:- Door Hanger OR you can use cardstock cut down to 4x8 and a circle punch.
- Animal Cookies Patterned Paper - Fold it to make a pocket to hold the flavored drink packet.
- Chocolate Ink
- Brads
- Paper Flowers
- Sparkle
6x6 Paper Organizer:
Supplies:
- 6x6 Paper Organizer
- Cardstock
- Animal Cookies Patterned Paper
I used CTMH's Card Confidence Program to get the idea for the insert. I got the water bottle idea from an awesome lady named Sheri Rottler.
I'm planning another retreat in September. Goodies like these could be yours if you attend! Stay tuned for more details coming soon!

Wingers Sticky Fingers
These were so yummy! I made these for the whole family at our family reunion. We were camping so that's why the picture was taken on a paper plate. I bought the
Tyson breaded chicken strips and then baked them in the oven. Some websites say to fry them. The receipe says that the sauce will cover 8 sticky fingers, but I found I had some leftover so I'm sure it will cover at least 10.
Sauce:
Covers about 8 sticky fingers
3 Tbsp. Franks Hot Sauce (They say it has to be Franks Hot Sauce)
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. water
Mix together in a sauce pan. I brought it to a boil and let it simmer for a few minutes. Put chicken fingers in a large container with a lid. Pour sauce over the chicken. Put the lid on and shake the sauce around to coat all the pieces.
I made a salad then chopped up some of the sticky fingers to add to it. Josh had his in a tortilla like a wrap. You'll want to use a little ranch to help tone down the hot. I just used a bottle of ranch dressing, but I've seen on other websites they actually made the ranch dressing from a packet.

Welcome To My New Blog
At my house it is preferred that we don't eat the same thing over and over again. In my quest to make my hubby happy I've tried a lot of recipes and have made up a rotating menu that consists of at least 6 weeks or so of something new for dinner. I've had friends tell me I should write a cook book. I've started, but let's face it, who has the time. Another wise friend suggested I post my concoctions on a blog. That, I thought, I could do and get these yummy recipes out to you sooner then me writing a cook book. I didn't come up with these recipes on my own, heavens no, I'm not even that great of a cook, but I've collected recipes from cook books, the Internet, and from family and friends. I will try to give as much credit to where it belongs. I'll also add the Weight Watchers point values if I know them for those that would like to know. The second part of this blog title is crafts. I like to craft, especially with paper. As I do crafts, see great craft ideas, I'll post those too. I'd love to do a giveaway or two along the way if that's okay with everyone. To start us off, I'm giving away an acrylix stamp set worth $22.95! If you are the winner, I have 4 different sets you can choose from! To enter leave a comment with your name. On July 31st I'll choose a winner using random.org. Check back to see if you are the winner on July 31st. If the prize goes unclaimed I'll choose another winner the following day.
I'm excited to start getting these recipes compiled in one place, and I hope you enjoy!

Everyone Needs A Buddy...How About A Muddy Buddy!
This is another childhood favorite. My mom would get out the huge Tupperware bowl and we'd make Muddy Buddies. I made these for a neighborhood get together. I was surprised of how many people didn't know what these little pieces of joy were! Everyone loves a Muddy Buddy, and how can you not? A chocolaty, peanut butter, sugary, crunch in every bite!
9 cups chex mix cereal (any variety)
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Into large bowl, measure cereal; set aside. In a quart microwavable bowl, stir together chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable plastic bag. Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
If you're trying to be healthy, this probably shouldn't be your first choice to snack on, but an occasional treat would be okay. For one serving (1/2 cup) it has a 3 point Weight Watcher value.
