Card For Customer

As some of you know I like to send you a handmade card when you order online. I had a customer call me to redeem her coupon (you only have a little over a month to use yours!). She ordered some of my favorite tools so I couldn't resist making her a card using them! She ordered the corner rounder which I used to make the scallops. The rounder has a guide on it that you can take off and then use to punch scallops. I use this feature more then then rounding corners! She also ordered the circle punch. I have to tell you that it has come in handy for so many projects I've done lately. It also matches up with a few of our stamp sets. The stamp set I used on this card is called Tag The Occasion. Works perfectly with the circle punch. The paper I used isn't new, but is still available. Hooligan is fun for so many occasions.

Oh Scrap!

My sister just had a baby and asked me to make thank you cards for her. I have so many scraps of different paper packs I decided to go through them and see what I could come up with. I made these baby themed ones using Animal Cookies paper (no longer available).
These guys I made using the same pattern, but different paper packets. It was so easy to put them together since I was using the same concept. I made 10 cards in an evening! They were pretty cheap too, since I used products I already had on hand. Each card averaged about $.40 each and that's including the envelope!

Left to Right: DayDream Paper, (Can't remember this one's name, but it's pretty old), Twitterpated, Let's Get Together - All papers have been discontinued. Sorry you aren't able to purchase any of these papers, but I wanted to show how easy it is to use the stuff you have on hand. We do have some awesome papers out right now! Check them out HERE!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookie Cups

I saw this reciep on the blog "See Jane In The Kitchen" and had to try them. She used a sugar cookie mix, but since I had a peanut butter one on hand I used that. It makes 24 so good thing I had a super bowl party to go to so I could share! The kids loved them!

Peanut Butter Cup Sugar Cookie Cups

24 mini Reeses peanut butter cups

Make cookies according to package directions. Roll a heaping Tablespoon size into a ball and put in a mini muffin tin. Press peanut butter cup into dough until top is even with dough. Bake at 375 degrees for 7-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden. Makes 24.

More Mailboxes!

My cute neighbor saw the mailbox I made and asked me to make her some for her family. I do have to say I was a little nervous to do them, hoping she would like them. It was fun to just go crazy with papers and accents! I think they turned out so cute that I need to go get me some more! The kids are loving ours, getting a treat everyday. They keep checking to see if the flag is up, the sign there's a goodie inside!
