Project A Day In May. Day #6

Yesterday I created a project I didn't even know I wanted to create.  While buying plants at the local nursery I saw these fairy garden kits.  I thought it would be fun to add one to my flower bed for the kids.  My 3 year old loves it!  It's not all the way done, I think it needs a rock path, but that will have to wait for another day.

Project A Day In May - Day #5

Sometimes, okay all the time, I take what is on my desk and create with it.  I am lazy that way.  For this card I used the Happy Times Paper Packet again, because I love it.   I also used the same stamp set as yesterday, C1605 Happy to Be Friends, because it is such a great set and it was still sitting on my desk.  Remember I'm a lazy crafter.  The ink color is Pomegranate.  It matches so well with this paper.  I pulled in a little Glacier Cardstock and used the scallop border punch for the edges.   I can't finish a card without some kind of bling!  The Flamingo Dots matched so well.

Project A Day in May - Day #4

I am privileged to be part of a card swap group that gets together every few months for dinner and to swap cards.  These ladies do amazing work and I am lucky they let me in!  Each time we meet we have a theme.  This month's theme is sympathy cards.  I am really loving the Happy to Be Friends stamp set!  Not sure why I waited so long to get it out and play with it.  The leaves and flowers along with the sentiment are all part of the set!

I pulled out some La Vie En Rose paper from my stash.  The black patterns in that paper packet go with just about anything.  

The cardstock color I used was Sorbet.  I also used Sorbet Ink, Whisper Ink, and Black ink.  The bling is a gold puffie that has sadly retired, but I loved it with this card.

A Project A Day In May - Day #3

It's that time of year for Mother's Day cards!  I really love how this card turned out.  I was inspired by a card by Michelle Snyder.  This Happy Times Paper is so fun to work with!  I used a little water color behind the sentiment to add a little more color to the white cardstock and added some glam with Gold Shimmer Trim.  I hope the Mother's in my life like there card!

The sentiment came from this set called Happy to Be Friends (C1605).  This is my first time using this set even though I have had it in my stash for awhile.  I really love the font and am excited to use it again soon on another project I am working on.

Project A Day in May - Day #2

When I saw the gold foil stripe paper in the Happy Times paper packet I knew it was destined to be a home decor piece.  After spending some time in Europe bikes have taken on a whole new meaning for me.  This will sit in my family room until I finish my Europe scrapbook then it will be my title page for the trip.

I used Artfully Sent to cut the bike and basket.  The flowers were cut from the Artistry Cricut Cartridge.  The gold hearts and circles in the center of the flowers are from the Gold Fundamentals Assortment.  The frame is the Shadow box from Close to My Heart!

This came together so fast and easy and I LOVE it!

Project A Day in May - #1
