Christmas Bokeh Card

Last Friday I was privileged to teach the Bokeh technique at a home party.  My hostess wanted a Christmas theme and did a wonderful job making her home feel like Christmas in September!  This was our make and take project.

A simple card, but so stunning!  We even colored a bitty sparkle with the Carmine marker to create Rudolph's nose.  The houses are a border cut from the new Artistry Cricut Cartridge.  Below is a complete list of products used to create this card.  All items can be purchased on my website www.juliescott.ctmh.com.  I created a completely different style of card using this technique I gave to the hostess. Hello Life - Fundamental Assortments

This card I made for our monthly card swap we have around the same time as my craft nights.  I liked it as is, but why not add some bling?  One of my new favorite blingy items is the Fundamental Assortments.  They come in 8 colors: Thistle, Glacier, Pear, Cranberry, Peacock, Pomegranate, Black, and Gold.  In each assortment you get 6 wooden stickers, 6 paper bows, 8 plastic clips, and a 6x6 sheet of glitter stickers (my favorite).  

What a great assortment to have on hand to add just a little something to your projects!

October Craft Night - Witches Hat

I don't usually post the project so early, but with this one I need to get a count ASAP so I can order the wood to be cut.

This cute witches hat measures about 14 inches high and is covered with our adorable Nevermore paper.  You can't tell in the picture, but it was sprayed with a light layer of black glitter and includes a fun spider to hang from your hat.

UPDATE:  This hat is a preorder project.  I have already submitted the order to the wood cutters, so I am not able to take any more orders for this hat.  I will however have additional projects you can work on at craft night.  More details coming soon!
