Lollydoodle - Craft Night Project

I am loving the new Lollydoodle paper!  We will be making this card at my New Idea Book party THIS Friday the 7th.  The party will be at my home at 7:00 PM.  Let me know if you would like to come and I can get you more details.

You Rule! Valentine

I wanted to make these super simple because lets face it, the ruler will be ripped out and the rest thrown in the garbage.  Sad, but true.

For the above Valentine I used (1385) White Daisy cardstock as my base cut at 3 x 4 3/4.  I then cut the (1272) Cranberry Cardstock piece at 2 3/4 x 4 1/2.  I random stamped some hearts I had in different stamp sets using (Z2116) Cranberry Ink.  Using my cutting board and exacto knife I cut two slits about an inch in length.  I slipped in my ruler.  I bought a huge bag off of Amazon.  I'm sure any local party store would carry them too.  I then attached the Cranberry piece to the white piece.  I cut the heart using my exclusive Cricut cartridge (Z1790) Artiste.  The hearts are cut at 2 inches using the heart on page 66.  I then used Cranberry ink again and a alphabet stamp set to stamp "you rule!".  I attached the heart using some (Z1151) 3D foam tape.  

This one is even more simple.  The heart is the same as the other and I used (Z1751) Cranberry Bakers Twine to tie it to the ruler.  My little guy will write his name on the back for all his classmates.

Tools to bring: Scissors and glue.  If you have these items please bring them: Whisper Ink,  Sponge, sanding kit, washi tape (if you would like to use your own).  If you do not have these items, no worries, I will have them available for you to use.

November Craft Night - Getting Ready For The Holidays

I know a lot of you are still working on Halloween costumes for your kids, but I couldn't resist putting together these projects for our November Craft Night.  Close To My Heart has come out with some fun new items just for the holidays!

November Craft Night:

Time: 6:00 PM (a little earlier than usual so you will have plenty of time to finish your projects)

Projects: Reusable Gift Tags, Medium Gift Bags w/tags, Fabric Gift Bags w/tags, and Christmas Cards.  Pricing and details below.

Reusable tags:  What makes these reusable? They are made with a special chalk paper.  You can write on them with chalk and then erase when the holiday is over.  You can also use our chalk marker to make the names permanent and reuse year after year.  Each one comes with 6 inches of twine. The cost is $10.00 for a set of 12.  Add a permanent chalk marker for only $2.00 more.
