Project a Day in May. Day #12

A Project a Day in May, Day 12.
I love this bright and cheery card designed by Denise Anderson-Turley. If you have noticed istores Flamingos are everywhere right now!
CTMH was right on trend when designing the Calypso collection.

Denise used one of the new Cut Above card kits called Jubilee as a background paper.  Genius!  You get two cards our of one!

The flamingos look like they are stamped, but they are actually from the Calypso PML cards that come in the Calypso paper packet.  You get two sets of PML cards with each packet.

And of course we need bling!  I love the new patterns and colors in the Calypso Sequins Collection.

A little gold foil tape finishes of the card perfectly.

A Project a Day in May. Day #11

Clear the table it's time for some scrapbooking!
This is my project for day 11. How many pictures do you think I printed of my Europe vacation? Comment with your guess and the closest person will get a goodie from me.

This might look daunting but I am using Close to My Hearts Everyday Life album and page protectors to slip my pictures into. Very fast and easy, which I need with as many photos as I have and what little time I have to do it.

I will be using the Happy Times paper to fill in where I need to and to add color and fun to my album.

I am so excited to get my pictures off my phone and computer and into an album that is easy to share with others or just to flip through myself to remember the amazing adventure I was so lucky to go on.

All of these products can be purchased on my website www.juliescott.ctmh.com

A Project a Day in May. Day #8

Happy Mother's Day to all the ladies in my life.  "Thanks a Bunch" for your friendship!

The papers and zip strip for this card come from one of our newest paper packets, Florence.  I love the bright and fun colors and then the neutrals to make them pop.

When I saw this stamp set in the new idea book I knew I had to have it!  It is called A Bunch of Love (C1647).  It has great sentiments and the flowers are so fun!  You can color in with markers or water colors.  The possibilities are endless!  It also has a coordinating thin cut to make it a breeze to get the perfect border every time!

Adults like to color too!  I used Shin Han markers to color in the flowers.  The colors are Warm Grey, Turquoise Blue, Carmine, Leaf Green, and Golden Yellow

All of these products can be purchase on my website www.juliescott.ctmh.com

Project A Day In May. Day #7

No joke, this card was so easy to put together.  I got the idea off of pinterest.  I changed mine up just a little bit.

The background paper is from the Happy Times paper packet.  Isn't the woodgrain absolutely to die for?  This is one of my favorite pieces in the packet.  I layered it on a piece of Whisper cardstock.

I then stamped the cake layers in black onto white cardstock and cut them out.  I also stamped the flowers in black then water colored them.  After they dried I cut them out with our awesome micro tip scissors.

I used 3D foam to pop the cake and flowers.  A little 3D foam adds so much to your project!  It's a must have for any crafter.

The Celebrate is also stamped in black.  All the stamps come from the May Stamp of the Month called Celebrate with Cake.  I added some bitty sparkles to the cake because every project needs a little bling.   I always have sparkles on hand.

This card would be perfect for a birthday or it's pretty enough for a wedding!  Such a versatile stamp set for celebrations.  I love it!  Can't wait to make more with this set.

Available for May only.  Can be purchased for $17.95 or only $5 with a $50 purchase

Available for May only or while supplies last.  Free with a $60 purchase or $14.95.  Matching stamp set only $17.95.
