The frame is a pre-assembled chipboard bracket frame, 11” outer dimension, 7” inner dimension, 1” deep.

Sign up and prepay by: Wednesday January 15^th.

 

Tools to bring: Scissors and glue.  If you have these items please bring them: Whisper Ink,  Sponge, sanding kit, washi tape (if you would like to use your own).  If you do not have these items, no worries, I will have them available for you to use.

 Card Swap:  We will be swapping Valentines/Love cards on the 24^th.  If you would like to join the swap let me know by this Saturday the 4^th.

November Craft Night - Getting Ready For The Holidays

I know a lot of you are still working on Halloween costumes for your kids, but I couldn't resist putting together these projects for our November Craft Night.  Close To My Heart has come out with some fun new items just for the holidays!

November Craft Night:
Date: Friday November 15th
Time: 6:00 PM (a little earlier than usual so you will have plenty of time to finish your projects)

Projects: Reusable Gift Tags, Medium Gift Bags w/tags, Fabric Gift Bags w/tags, and Christmas Cards.  Pricing and details below.

Reusable tags:  What makes these reusable? They are made with a special chalk paper.  You can write on them with chalk and then erase when the holiday is over.  You can also use our chalk marker to make the names permanent and reuse year after year.  Each one comes with 6 inches of twine. The cost is $10.00 for a set of 12.  Add a permanent chalk marker for only $2.00 more.

 

Medium Gift Bags:  These bags measure 10 inches tall and 8 inches wide with each bag front decorated and includes a tag and tissue paper.  Cost is $11.00 for a set of 5.

Pumpkin Treat Bag - Craft Night Bonus Project

This little gift bag will be our bonus project at October's Craft Night.  They are only $.50 each!  They are the perfect size for a couple fun size candy bars or a few pieces of candy.  Something special to give to your favorite trick-or-treaters.  Let me know how many you would like by this Thursday the 17th so I can have them cut and ready for you by Craft Night, Friday the 18th.

Art Philosophy Ghost

 

I saw these ghosts people were making cutting cardstock by hand and I remembered a spiral Cricut cut on the Art Philosophy cartridge.  It is actually used to make a 3D flower but it worked out perfect to make an instant ghost!  Using the same cartridge I cut out an "O" shape and cut it in half for his smile, then cut the negative space in half in an arch to make his eyes.  I punched a small hole in the top and used some natural bakers twine to hang from the ceiling.
