Fruit 'n Nuts Trail Mix

I found a yummy trail mix at the store that included dried fruit instead of the M&M's you would normally find in a mix. I found it to be pretty expensive for just a small bag, so I set out to create my own version. I was surprised to find that I could purchase all the ingredients I needed at my local Walmart.
On can of mixed nuts (I like variety, but you could use any nuts you like)
One bag of banana chips
One bag of dried pineapple (the pieces were big, so I cut them into smaller bites)
raisins
Mix in a large baggie and enjoy! Warning! It is addictive!
Side note: Next time I think I'll try non salted nuts. It's good, but a little salty for my taste.

Silk Nog Shake

Egg nog is a staple this time of year, but I couldn't stomach the 190 calories for a 1/2 cup! I saw in a Smith's ad that they had Silk Nog. I've been using Silk in my protein shakes so I was really curious how the Silk Nog would taste. To my surprise it tasted like watered down egg nog, but still good! I decided to use it in my morning protein shake. Oh so yummy! I had to share!

Silk Nog Protein Shake: 1 cup Silk Nog, 4-5 ice cubes (depending on how thick you want it), 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder, banana optional), generous sprinkle of nutmeg & cinnamon. Blend all together and enjoy!

Studio J Year End Layout

Every Christmas all my siblings and I do a layout for my Mom including pictures of events that happened to us throughout that year. This year I used Studio J! It took me less than an hour to complete AND it was only $6.50 with a Studio J Membership! I'm really loving Studio J!

Cricut Happy Birthday

Sorry, I've been a little MIA in blog land. The two boutiques I participated in are now done! Thank you to all that came! My Christmas shopping and crafting is almost done and I have a little time to post some of the things I've been up to. My little girl was invited to a friend birthday party last week. I needed a quick easy tag. I cut this tag using my Cricut and the Art Philosophy cartridge. I added some Elemental paper behind the cupcake cut out to add some color. I used a coordinating marker to write a sentiment. Simply, Easy, and Cute!
